Hi! I'm Dan, your guitar teacher.

I teach live online guitar lessons for all levels — beginner to advanced. There's no prepay or deposit. Pay-as-you-go at the end of each lesson.

Which level fits you?

-Starting-From-Scratch: No experience needed. Learn tab, basic chords, and strumming to start playing right after your first lesson!

-Beginner: You've been practicing for months or years but you're still feeling stuck and you're frustrated with confusing YouTube videos. We’ll clean up your guitar basics and get you back on track. You'll start learning songs, strumming, and soloing with scales.

-Intermediate: You know the basics and a maybe a few songs, but you struggle with clunky strumming, weak soloing, and too many wrong notes. Your blues isn't very bluesy and you're still confused about song keys. We’ll fix all of these issues and start heading toward the advanced levels.

-Advanced: You know the notes on the fretboard, chords, some modes or scales, but you're still in a rut with weak soloing, wrong notes, theory issues, bad blues, jazz confusion, and repetitive strumming. I’ll help you solve all of these issues.

I’ve helped guitarists of every level for over 30 years.

Lesson Details:

You'll need a laptop (or tablet / phone) and internet (lessons via Google Meet).

-We can work on rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass, or any song you choose.

-Acoustic or electric guitars are both perfect for lessons.

About Me:

I’m Dan Dresnok — published author of several guitar method books and a professional teacher with 30+ years of experience. I’ve taught over 50,000 students both online and in-person, specializing in jazz, blues, rock, and music theory.

Q: Are online guitar lessons as good as in-person?

A: Yes, in fact, they're often better. There's no driving, illness, family, or pet distractions — we can focus completely on guitar.

Q: What video chat program do we use?

A: Google Meet.

Q: How do I (the student) receive lesson materials (tabs, songs, chords)?

A: I (Dan) will email lesson PDFs to you during our lessons.

Q: How do we communicate between lessons?

A: Students can text or call me anytime.

Q: What days are available for lessons?

A: I teach every weekday - M-F. Contact me for current openings.

Q: How does the payment work?

A: $65/hr pay-as-you-go via Zelle or PayPal.

Q: How long is each lesson?

A: One hour.

Q: Where are you located, Dan?

A: I'm based north of Atlanta, GA (EST), but I teach students online all across the US.
